Privacy Policy
Last updated: Oct 28, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how PoolNexo LLC ("PoolNexo", "we") handles information when pool service companies ("Customers") use PoolNexo, and when their clients ("End Users") view service reports or the client portal.
1. Roles
For data that a pool service company enters about its own clients (names, addresses, phone numbers, emails, pool data, photos and service history), the pool service company is the business/controller and PoolNexo acts as its service provider/processor. For account data of our Customers (owner and staff logins), PoolNexo is the controller.
2. Information we process
- Account data: name, email, phone, password (stored as a secure hash), language.
- Client and pool data entered by the Customer, including service photos and water-test readings.
- Communication preferences and consents (SMS, WhatsApp, email, push) and a log of messages prepared or sent.
- Push-notification subscription identifiers for devices that opt in.
- Technical data: IP address, browser type, security logs.
3. How we use it
To provide the service (scheduling, routes, reports, client portal, notifications), to secure accounts, to provide support, and to comply with law. We do not sell personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
4. Messages
SMS, WhatsApp, email and call buttons open the technician's own device apps; the message is sent by the pool service company from its own number or account. Pool service companies are responsible for obtaining consent required by laws such as the U.S. Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA). End Users can change preferences at any time in the client portal or by replying STOP to text messages.
5. Optional AI features
If enabled by the platform administrator, service readings and notes may be sent to an AI provider (OpenAI or Anthropic) solely to generate a summary for the report. Client contact details are not included.
6. Sub-processors
Hosting provider; email delivery provider (if configured); browser push services (Apple, Google, Mozilla, Microsoft); AI provider (if enabled).
7. Retention and security
Data is kept while the Customer account is active and deleted or anonymized after termination, except where retention is legally required. Secrets are encrypted at rest, passwords are hashed and access is role-based.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example California under the CCPA/CPRA, or the EU/EEA under the GDPR), you may have rights to access, correct, delete or port your data and to opt out of certain processing. End Users should contact the pool service company first; we will assist them. Contact: no-reply@poolnexo.appdospiscineiros.com.br.
9. Children
PoolNexo is not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 in the EU).
